An 18-year-old Chicago-based artist and Inclusion Pioneer, Emmett is a dynamic advocate for individuals with unique abilities, using bold abstract art to promote messages of inclusion and ability. Proud to have Down syndrome, he has created more than 150 works, exhibited in five gallery shows, painted the American Flag for the U.S. Embassy in Croatia, and designed Optimizely’s logo. His collaborations with brands such as Disney, Yahoo, and Adobe, along with more than $110,000 raised for charitable organizations through art auctions, underscore his impact beyond the canvas. With internationally recognized work, a strong digital presence, and collaborations including Matthew Hoffman’s “You Are Beautiful” project, he continues to reshape the art world, and in 2024 will further expand his mission with the launch of his nonprofit foundation, Emmett’s World.
